19 times Justin Timberlake acted abusive, toxic, problematic or took advantage of Britney Spears to promote himself

Many of you had noticed that after the documentary Framing Britney Spears — a collaboration of FX Chanel and The New York Times, Justin Timberlake's name have been seen on Twitter's Trending Topics. What many of you might not know is that, JT has a long list of abusive behavior, toxic, and problematic behavior when it comes to female gender — that is most based in taking advantage of them. This text is not intended to shade or diminish JT talent, carrier or whatever. It is showing how misogyny is rooted in our culture and how society tends to always position itself alongside the white and heterosexual man — even if he is the wrong one in history.

Let's start talking about JT and Britney Spears — their relationship were a mark in pop culture. Before them, the most publicized couple by media was Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love in the 90’s — JT & Britney dated from 1999 until mid of 2002. Rumor has it that Britney went to NYC to present in SNL and promote her album and that Justin — that was with her — found out a note from Wade Robinson — which was a choreographer both for Britney also for Justin — saying that he had feeling for Britney, that he and Britney had an affair — what made them broke up and Justin started saying that Britney cheated on him. But let's just stick to the facts:

#1 — While still dating Britney (and before SNL), Justin was seen dating other women— just one year after his relationship with Britney was confirmed, JT was caught leaving a hotel with Nicole Appleton, from All Saints while Britney was working hard promoting her album "Britney".

#2 — Even though Britney always said that she and JT split over different life goals and the media noticing that JT was saw in NYC for many times trying to get back with her, his solo carrier and album wasn't selling as expected. So, he decided to change its narrative and started to spread rumors that Britney cheated on him. So, he released his first song talking about her: Like I love you

#3 — Since there was a lot of buzz about their break up — he went on and released another song calling Britney a cheater — Cry me a river and also hired a Britney's look-alike to be part of the video. The song has lines like: "You don't have to say what you did, I already know I found out from him"- talking about a cheating that apparently never happened but provide to his carrier the impulse was so much needed that time.

#4 — He told to Darrin Henson, his former choreographer, to smell his fingers — after slept with Britney that night.

#5 — He went to Barbara Walter's interview and painted himself as the victim of Britney — the villain and cheater.

#6 — He responded to Barbara Walter's question and said that he took Britney's virginity.

#7 — He shaded Britney to promote his albums during interviews — one of them could be checked when he went to Ellen Degeneres program.

#8 — The press ate it up Justin narrative what makes Britney always be published like "the bitch" or the villain.

#9 — He diminish Britney's movie Crossroads and said that if she had a clue, she wouldn't have made that.

#10 — During an interview at Hot 97 radio, when asked if he had an oral intercourse with Britney, he said: "I did it, I'm dirty"- acting like an idiot as always.

#11 — In another radio interview, when asked about if he had "f#@8" with Britney — he just said… "Yes, I f#@8" her.

#12– 4 years after they broke up, Justin uses Britney's name again to promote his second album. He was dating Cameron Diaz at that times and he said in an interview: "I felt like she had a couple of opportunities to just sort of stick up for me and she didn't. Which is fine. But at that time, you know, I fought back. I used my mind. I came up with a song — (it was 2 songs but in this he was doing a clear reference to Cry me a River).

#13 — After 4 years after the split he released another song — the 3rd one -calling Britney a cheater — What comes around…goes around — and that was just the way he says to Britney that all her the mental issues she was facing was Karma and that happend because she "cheated on him".

#14 — JT talked about Madonna and her achievements into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame — 2008 — and then he came up with — The world has long been fool of Madonna-wannabes and I might have even dated a couple. Note — it was said just after he mentioned Britney and Madonna's kiss at the VMAs.

#15–7 years after their split — Justin uses his sexual life with Britney in a skit on SNL — Saturday Night Live.

#16 — In an event in 2013 (11 years after they split)— before start singing Cry me a River, he called Britney a bitch. In his own words: "Sometimes in life you think you found the one. But one day you find out that she was just a bitch"

#17 — While Britney's life and mental issues were being explored and cashed out by paparazzis, media and Britney also was forced to be admitted in a Mental Hospital, in a concert, JT decided to sing a medley: What Goes Around… Goes Around (a song that talks about Britney) + Amy Winehouse's song Rehab.

#18 — Rumor has it that, while facing a lot of pressure, mental issues, 2 kids, a divorce and a lot of more, Britney had decided to present herself at the VMAs — The Gimme More presentation. Although she and Just didn't talk since their broke up, guess who spontaneously decided to visit Britney at her VMA's dressing room? That's correct. JT. Also people said that this impacts her a lot… And the rest of her day we already know how it was…

#19 — OVER 14 years after their split — JT once again mentioned their break up in an interview with Vanity Fair. When asked if he needed to be "depressed or tormented"to create a good song, he said: "It depends. In the past, suffering has helped me compose songs. Cry me a river was written in a time of pain like everyone know…"
